OMG Freaking Retina Burning Bright!

Holy Cow Batman, they stole a bat lantern and hung it on a bike! I still see spots when I look at him indirectly. I've read reviews about water issues so I suspect it doesn't work well in the rain. I plan to install it under the rear pillar and waterproof it. I'm looking where I can buy a small amount of a special electronics waterproofing gel. With this I can just open it and close the circuits, problem solved. If not, I can tape the seam. Cover the button with a piece of plastic from a bag (lunch bag) and siliconize the USB cable in the USB port for power supply from a self-made 18650 lithium-ion battery. The brightness is definitely more with a little more effort as worth. I thought the 150 lumen light was bright until I was nearly blinded by it. :-) After a meeting with this light, the drivers cannot see you even if the afterword spots see. LOLUpdate August 8th, 2019: It failed the first time I tried to use it on a bike ride. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent a replacement free of charge. After inspecting the broken lantern, I found that the push button micro switch was broken. If this happens with the new light I'll probably hook up an external jack and run the wire to the switch on the steering wheel. I'll probably use some extra wiring and circuitry as well as a switch with a built in LED so I can see the flash circuitry as well. Turning on the light from the steering wheel would be much more convenient. Fortunately, with my extensive experience in electronics, I can do such things. :-) I still love this light.

Pros
  • DAYLIGHT VISIBLE FLASH FOR ENHANCED RIDER SAFETY, 6 hour runtime with maximum light for long journeys. Driving with a bright rear light is just as important during the day as it is at night.
Cons
  • Crumpled
