The connector with the protruding brass tub is not long enough to open the internal valve on the appliance side of the connection; hence gas does not flow. It worked after repeated attachments to one appliance, but not to the one I need it to work with; standard small gas cylinders work fine with this appliance though, I am sure glad I hade some with me since this hose did not work.The worst part is that revain will not allow me to return it. Returns site indicate that the time has expired; well next time I suppose I should schedule my camping trip based on by purchases at revain. better yet, next time I should just go to Walmart. They carry this and related items at competitive prices. I only purchased at revain because of my past experience with revain standing behind what I purchased from them; stunning revelation. I'll have to carefully consider my long standing policy of shopping revain because I had complete confidence revain would take care of me if something like this became an issue.
