Versatile Propane Distribution Post For Camping And Outdoor Activities Review

First one had miscut threads and would not attach to my Coleman stove regulator. Returned with no issues and replacement worked fine. But struggled through one camping outing by moving existing hose back and forth between stove and grill.

Gas volume through this item and a distribution tree is a problem with three items hooked up in cold weather FYI if that is your plan. One stove is OK anytime.

Functions as intended. Fittings are made of re-re-re-re-recycled brass. It almost looks like they are coated with brass. Plastic protective caps are provided on both fittings. Both fittings turn for easy installation. The ferrules are cadmium coated steel and appear to be solidly crimped in place.The hose is 5' long and very slightly more flexible than some other brands I've used.

I use this to hook my camp stove up to a propane distribution tree. Been using for several times a year for several years now, and still working great.

Ha ha. Seriously, I turned the tank off and my stove continued to run for a good 3-4 minutes on just the gas remaining in the hose. It works well, and I'm glad I got the ten feet since I use it with a tree and don't want to have to put my lantern immediately next to my stove all the time. If you plan to purchase this, be aware that you will need to close the valve on your propane tank a few minutes before you plan to shut off your appliance. Hose works as it's supposed to. My only complaint is that the dust cap on the one end isn't attached. So once you take it off, it's up to you to keep track of it. That's not easy for me to do on a big camping trip. They thought well enough to attach one permanently, why not the other? And make sure you turn the tank off and let your appliance empty the hose.

As an avid tent camper and owner three of these, I highly recommend this product in combination with a propane distribution post and 20 lb tank to supply several appliances while avoiding the inconvenience and expense of using individual cylinders. They paid for themselves in one season.

The connector with the protruding brass tub is not long enough to open the internal valve on the appliance side of the connection; hence gas does not flow. It worked after repeated attachments to one appliance, but not to the one I need it to work with; standard small gas cylinders work fine with this appliance though, I am sure glad I hade some with me since this hose did not work.The worst part is that revain will not allow me to return it. got this to run a camp stove it also is great for soldering copper tubing. you don't have to carry a small tank, it attaches to a torch tip making the tip easier to handle

Have not use long enough to know the pros and cons. Will come back and re-rate the product at a later date The propane tank can be challenging to carry and store.

I'm using a 20lb propane tank, tank foot, propane tree, and a few of these hoses to supply propane to two camping stoves and a lantern on the top of the propane tree. The hose works great and no more mini propane tanks floating around the camp site.

Check the fit on both ends before you put them to use. The end that threads into the appliance was wrong on the two that I purchased. The thread that attaches to to the tree was just fine but when trying to thread the hoses to my coleman camp grill and coleman roadtrip, it would jam about 1/2 way in leaving a gap in the seal. My fault for not testing this but it was a last minute item before my camping trip. These left me stranded with no propane cooking gear. Good thing I always bring a backup

Well built with excellent fitment to both the distribution pole and the propane appliance (stove, grill, camp light on in our case).

Bought to use between 20lb distribution tree and multiple lanterns and grills etc.Connected OK to dist. tree and the other end was Ok to a stove, but not to a lantern. The lantern connection appeared threaded, but other hoses worked fine.Returned.
