Review on Coralife LED BioCube Canopy Replacement by Kristine Schmidt

I refused to buy a new hood due to the cost of purchase. After shorting out the wiring from my old hood, I finally decided to take the plunge. I really wish I had made this change sooner. The item arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. The lid itself is probably half the weight of the old range hood, much quieter, much cooler and more energy efficient I'm sure. The installation went with a bang. There are three plastic snaps, they came out easily and the piece snapped in perfectly. I was also able to lose 3 large power cords in exchange for 1 smaller cord, reducing the rat cord socket. Set up was easy too. The built in timer saved me the hassle of managing the Coralife timer and there is a very attractive sunrise and sunset feature. The light itself is very bright and shows the details in the tank well. But in all of this, I want to write this because my bubbly-tipped anemones are finally bubbly! I couldn't be happier with this hood.
