Review on Enhanced Plantronics S10 Convertible Headset with Amplifier (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Lisa Collins

First I wanted to answer the concerns about the horrible squeaking when used in a multi phone office environment. I can't talk to multiple S10s in the same office, but when I tried a different extension for the first time, there was a squeak. However, the amplifier has 7 configuration settings. I've found several settings to work for outgoing calls, but only two work for both office and outgoing calls. So if a second headset is purchased from my office I will respond if we can find a configuration setting for both headsets that works. I assumed it was just confusing. Attaching the earhook is easy, and I forgot I was wearing it until I stumbled upon the cord while turning a chair or standing up. Nice that nothing actually sits in the ear, but is soft on the outside. Volume: In addition to adjusting the volume and tone of the incoming signal, it actually has the ability to transmit your voice. Two ranges are available for output, as well as the volume in each range. The maximum range is far too long, but it's good to know it's there if anyone ever complains that I can barely hear you (as was the case all along with the previous headset system).
