Review on Samura Harakiri SHR-0250 set, 5 knives by Ada Lech (Ada Lech) ᠌

The quality was generally satisfied, there were minor shortcomings.

I feel obligated to point out right off the bat that these are not the first samurai knives that I have ever come across. Before that, I was successful in getting a knife model number SD.0023 for myself, and it is stunning. Only amount and first sharpening are of any interest while using these knives. Although the rusting edge is a novel feature, the remaining knives were just your average, run-of-the-mill kitchen cutlery; they were no better than any of the other knives that could be purchased at your local hardware store, and in some cases they were even worse. And I can't say whether that's a plus or a disadvantage because the blades on the knives are so delicate. Following the application of SD.0023, these resemble sheets of foil.

Pros
  • Originally sharp, the knives' shapes are suited for a variety of activities, there are many knives included in the set, and the price is affordable.
Cons
  • Disadvantage 2: 1) After being sharpened, the cutting edges started to rust. This is something I've never seen before on kitchen knives, and I certainly didn't anticipate seeing it on a samurai sword. 2) SHR-0043B curve, if you look at the reflection of the light bulb - there is a dent, not critical, but not pleasant.
