Our old handle cracked due to frozen water in winter. This new one probably won't be much better in that regard, but it's a lot slimmer and easier to use than the cheap one the trailer manufacturer uses. The spring action of the handle allows you to completely block the flow of water and stop dripping. The spray pattern is wide but small enough to provide good spray force to make washing off sand or dirt a little easier. Nice upgrade for our camper!
