Review on πŸ’¦ Enhanced Performance with MSI MAG Series CORELIQUID 240R, aRGB CPU Liquid Cooler (AIO): Advanced Rotatable Blockhead Design, 240mm Radiator, Dual 120mm aRGB PWM Fans - Boost Your PC's Cooling Efficiency! by Mike Newbill

Effective but louder than the competition.

The cooler is very large, the MSI image doesn't show the dimensions very well. This is much louder than my h100i on my 7700k which had similar performance. One thing to note is that the cooler offers a lot of customization options in terms of am4 mounting hardware. You won't notice the problem until it's fully installed and you put the magnetic cover on the cooler. Mine was 1 click away so the cooler isn't perfectly parallel to the RAM. The cables exit both sides of the cooler so my installation was a bit tricky as I had to wrap the cables around the cooler and route them through the top of the motherboard through the case as the GPU was blocking the mini-ITX MSI mpg b550i I am I use. The cooler keeps the temperature low but louder than the competition. I only use the configuration for push notifications. You cannot change the color of the numbers on the screen, but you can upload your own photos or symbols. The screen is not as bright and bright as advertised. Update: After some reconfiguration, the lid is now parallel to the plunger. I also decided to replace the paste with mx-4 thermal paste. The temperature under full load is 77 Β°C after a 15-minute stress test. Standard thermal paste regularly reaches 85+C even under short full load. The AIO is still noisy at 100%, but the new paste brings it much better.
