I was looking for a basic printer/scanner/copier that my daughter could take to school. I wanted something robust without tons of menus or complexities. It can also read and print multiple types of memory cards at the same time. As long as this printer ticks all the boxes, it just does it all for a reasonable price. I also bought one for my nephew. The printout looks good and is fast enough for individual use. Basic copying is easy - press a button for black and white or one for colour. I don't know how long it will last since we just started using it. The downside is that there is no separate output tray, so printed papers are easily spit out into the paper tray, getting mixed up and causing paper jams. If you want to get away during a large print job, this printer isn't for you. In addition, the ink is very expensive. A set of cartridges (high capacity) costs almost as much as a printer. A different ink cartridge is also required for true photo quality prints.
