I'm 5'3" tall and weigh 163 pounds. I'm a curvy girl with a big top and big hips, so I have a hard time finding jackets that I don't like make a round drop look without a waist or tight around the chest this option is great for reference I usually wear a large size in Michael Kors or Calvin Klein jackets - if I'm wearing a sweater or a thick shirt, the fit is snug fitting but still comfortable, and a bit loose with regular shirts. For this brand I ordered MEDIUM and it fits just like the large I have with other brands. Love this jacket! The waist measurement is flattering. The hood is oversized but not extreme at all. Its warm, cozy comfort is ideal for winter weather, which is typically around 20°F. Not very stretchy. I have a 34 DDD and thick thighs. it's not just me (large bust + full jacket = fluffy) but I can bend and move my arms and body perfectly. If you have a wide waist or square frame, you should choose one size larger. Comes its own ziplock bag
