Big color for big kids

These crayons are heavy and tight in your hand. I think it helps stabilize my hand when using it to paint. The lack of wood for protection makes them fairly easy to break. If you drop one on a hard floor, it will most likely break into many pieces. One of the pencils broke off in shipping, but only the tip. I used a manual sharpener and it sharpens easily. The outer part of the pencil is colored, so there are no color transfer problems except for the pointed end. I like to use the nib for broad strokes or the nib for fairly narrow lines. The pens give good color density and the color blends well with the color of the pen color.
