Sooooooooo I ordered the L-XL. My calf is 14" and thats at the low end for this size (14"-16").Tried them on for about an hour or so. Noticed how tight it is around the ankle. Felt okay everywhere else at the moment. So here I decided maybe if I put a slit in the tight calf part, I will be okay.See I tore a ligament in my calf and was hoping this would help.Well I wore it to work the next day. 4 hours in I could feel my foot tingling. Went home early for an unrelated issue and took the compressor off.Well not only was my foot bright red, but there seemed to be blood clots forming on my ankle and from the inside of the sock where material hung. there were indentations all around my leg. Apparently, it had cut the blood circulation off!Sure, I could have sent them back before I put a slit in the sock, but I know people who have smaller calves than mine that can use them.anyway, order a size larger. Trust me :0
