I think it's kind of ironic that I started using a DE razor to stop giving Gillette as much money , only to find that they make really good DE blades. This is easily the best blade I've ever used. These include Merkur, Dorco, Personna Blues, Astra SP, Shark and the infamous Feather. Yes, I shave better than ever with the popular Feather blades. A close shave doesn't always mean a better shave. I find these Gillettes have the perfect balance of sharpness and smoothness for my skin and work really well with all my razors from the Merkur 34c to my vintage Gillettes. In terms of durability, I can shave about 5 times with one blade. Maybe I can expand them a bit more? yes i suppose But if I can get 5 perfect shaves with one blade, that's enough for me. It's still a lot cheaper than cartridges and a lot nicer on the skin. Give them a try if you haven't already because they're really, really good.
