Review on CONDA 8x10 Inch Black Stretched Canvas - Pack of 8, Ideal for Acrylics and Oils, 100% Cotton with 8 oz Gesso-Priming by Karla Richter

Student class canvas for practicing and working with children.

The packaging says this is a student quality screen, not a professional one and they are right about that. The surface of the canvas is not quite smooth (there are small bumps somewhere), and the canvas is glued to the frame in such a way that there is a certain play and looseness of the picture surface. However, I can't fault him for being the schoolboy's canvas when he should be. Whether you want a black canvas for practice or an inexpensive canvas for working with kids, this is a sensible product. I usually prefer to use the best canvas because who knows? I can surprise myself and do something really good. and there it would be on a practice screen, and if I wanted to sell it or display it I'd rather have it on a professional screen. (Of course there's always the option to paint over it again!) One of the things I love about black canvas is that the edges are black so I don't have to worry about being careless and going over the white edge to paint. canvas and then decide what to do to delete them. I tried different things with this canvas. In the photo of Joshua's Sun Behind the Tree, I used acrylic paint, pastels, and a white gel pen for the stars. The canvas gracefully accepted all of these approaches, which made me very happy. The photo of a tree with white mountains behind was made with CarbOthello pastels. My guess is that every other canvas was wrapped in polythene to protect the canvases from each other. It was really thoughtful.
