FreedomPop is a total rip off and scam. I bought one of their node devices and was supposed to get 500GB of FREE data per month. Well, one day I find out they're charging me $3.99 a month for no reason. I certainly haven't exceeded my FREE limit. Good luck trying to reach someone! After several tries and several wasted hours, I finally found a guy in India (here I believe) who told me that my account was canceled because I didn't pay $3.99. When I explained that it was a mistake and they only had to pay my initial device payment plus 500GB FREE data per month, the guy told me to wait "because he needs to speak to his manager". Well, after 25 minutes of waiting and complete dead silence, the guy comes back to the phone, says he can't reactivate my account, and IT'S DONE HE DON'T HEAR ME! I don't invent. The criminal tactics taught to these guys are just amazing. FreedomPop should be fined and forced to shut down!
