Firstly, in 2016 JKU, the basic installation function (without DRL) is plug and play IF you buy a fog lamp adapter (sold separately). Second, use ballast, trust me. Third, there are many ways to connect DRL and turn signals. Worth stopping there if you're not interested in electricity as up to this point everyone has probably complained that they don't work as plug and play as they ARE. The easiest way is to connect the wires to the turn signal. If you're feeling more adventurous you can do what I did right in the fuse box. Disclaimer: I am not an electrician or mechanic! Things you may need but not included: electrical connectors (any type you like), electrical wire (I used blue as the DRL wire on my kit was blue on the fog lights, the headlights came with white for that DRL supplied and yellow). per turn), heat shrink tubing or electrical tape, wire cutters and wire strippers, add a fuse circuit (only if DRLs are wired directly to the fuse box), and most importantly, time. They don't last as long as higher quality ones as they are cheap Chinese imitations.
