Review on 57 2543 FIPK Performance Intake System by Trey Crosland

I have been buying and using K&N products for many years but for the first time I can say that the product is overpriced and the quality is poor. This filter made my 351-watt Bronco 96 sound like an old police car. When you push the bottom of the truck you will hear a LOUD increasing WOW sound that gets louder as you accelerate and when you decelerate you will hear a decreasing WOW sound. As a result, my truck sounded like an old 1960's police car! The first time I pulled and knocked him down, I looked around for a cop. Serious design flaw. K&N had to use a different filter design to eliminate the WOOOW sound. Too much money for a filter and a piece of PVC to make such an annoying noise. I am sending mine back as the sound was so bad.
