Well, I'm male, 6ft 0in, about 160lbs and I wear 32W 32L pants. I'm so glad I bought these from SMALL based on other reviews they fit me very well. Although I'm thin I never wear small ones now, usually because of the length, but the small ones fit me perfectly (I've washed and dried them to make sure they don't shrink too much. I'm tall enough to move around and they not pulling up over the crew socks.they are snug but not skin tight and the inseam is good,roomy but not too saggy.average length would be too big now knowing how well the little one fits me.i have been wearing them for a few days now and the material is nice and soft, a bit thin, warm but not hot, just enough for a good extra layer. I personally will wear them from zero to about 50 degrees ( F), below zero would I choose my wool blend, usually this isn't a problem in my area unless it's snowing or something They may not last a lifetime but are of great value as long as they don't fall apart very quickly I would w I would not buy them again, they are of good quality, perfect for my use and at a good price.
