Have you ever handled a hot cast iron skillet?! Then you need it!
Have you ever accidentally grabbed the handle of a hot cast iron skillet while cooking? Well, someone in our family had a 2nd degree burn on their right palm - something we don't want to repeat! So we ordered these silicone pen holders and they work great! They fit most Lodge brand cast iron skillets and although they do get hot, they can still be handled without discomfort. Note: pour in before the pan is hot - this is much easier! I don't know why I didn't order them a long time ago!
