This negative ion generator has needle corona plasma discharge, not carbon fiber emitter. Pretty effective and very strong! When you hold it to your nose, you can almost feel the Ionian breeze it exudes and smell the clean air! When I first unboxed it, it was completely dead along with the battery and took about four hours to fully charge. On a full charge it lasts all day for work, I wear it for about 12 hours, it seems to work constantly, doesn't fade. When I get home and plug it in, it only lasts about an hour and a half and then it's fully charged again. Given the coronavirus situation, I am very happy with my purchase and believe it can help me stay healthy! I've had a similar device for 25 years when traveling by plane and I'm very lucky that I no longer get sick while flying! It costs more but is much more effective than cheaper carbon fiber emitter blocks! It also looks high quality and is well made and reliable. The seller was also a fast shipper. Stay safe and healthy!
