Unfortunately I waited too long to try it on my new computer, so the return window had already closed - otherwise I would definitely come back because: 1. It's useless if you have a protective case on your computer and 2. I couldn't test it - the connection doesn't reach the top of the laptop (#1); However, if this were the case: I suspect that the two inserts that go into the computer and are on one end of the adapter would be unreliable/fragile since that connection is all that supports the adapter's length and weight. I went from disappointment at the changes Apple has made to this model of computer to hope when I saw and purchased this adapter to complete disappointment at not actually being able to USE the adapter due to its design. 🙁If the seller or manufacturer is reading this review, I look forward to hearing from you.
