Perfection in Computer Accessories and Peripherals

I bought this product because Apple thought it would be a smart idea to have fewer ports on my MacBook Pro. As a graphic artist, I use my computer with multiple displays, so I need to have more than one connected at the same time. Since one of the ports is needed to charge the computer (my battery needs servicing so I have to keep my power cord plugged in at all times) and I typically use an external hard drive to store my projects PLUS a Wacom tablet for drawing. Unfortunately not usable

Unfortunately I waited too long to try it on my new computer, so the return window had already closed - otherwise I would definitely come back because: 1. It's useless if you have a protective case on your computer and 2. I couldn't test it - the connection doesn't reach the top of the laptop (#1); However, if this were the case: I suspect that the two inserts that go into the computer and are on one end of the adapter would be unreliable/fragile since that connection is all that supports the…

Purgo USB-C Hub is the winner!

My company upgraded my MacBook Air and of course all the accessories I have are USB and Mini DisplayPort. I have a 28" Dell monitor with a DVI cable connected to HDMI on the monitor through a KVM switch. My old setup had a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter and it worked fine with my monitor (although the resolution wasn't very high). in 1080p). I was worried about my capabilities but got this hub and HDMI to DVI, plugged it in and it just works! And in high definition! And, even better, it's a…

All the reasons why this center is not worth your hard earned money.

The company that sells this product includes a paper brochure that encourages customers to leave positive feedback to receive a free MacBook leather sleeve. Many of the reviews for this product are overly positive, not mentioning anything important and not mentioning actually using an external 4K display. I would advise against sending shipping information to this company (or any other company requesting personal information). I am using M1 MacBook Air (2020). This product is advertised as…

Finally! A hub that works well with my M1's external monitor!

And Thunderbolt to boot! This is the fourth socket I've tried with the M1 MBP. Everyone else woke up with their laptop disconnected from the monitor most of the time. Reconnecting the HDMI cable didn't help either. Changing the cable didn't help. The system configuration tool to detect displays did nothing. The only two ways to reconnect it was to reboot or eject all my external drives and reconnect the hub itself. I USE THIS HUB FOR TWO DAYS WITH MULTIPLE COMPUTER SLEEP PERIODS AND IT CONNECTS

Great but a bit gross (pictured

This little hub has some big pros and cons. What made me choose this hub was that it was the only hub I had in this one Stil (the one that attaches directly to it on the side of the laptop) with an HDMI 2.0b port (meaning it can handle 4k at 60Hz, while most hubs can only handle 4k at 30Hz.) It has dual full size HDMI 3.0 ports, SD/Micro SD reader, Thunderbolt/Power passthrough and optional Type-C port were just icing on the cake.I tested most of the ports and for the most part they all work as
