Review on Turtle Beach XC1 Gaming Headset - Xbox 360 (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Brandon Baird

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Compared to the normal ones, they fit better.

The headset we have here costs twenty dollars, so it's made for mass production. On the plus side, Turtle Beach has actually made decent mics a hallmark of the brand, and while this is a budget mic it still does a good job on a simple task. The downsides are numerous, depending on how picky and unwilling to stick to a strict flow you are. High price = high quality. Basically, the auricle is of bad design. and the speaker is about 1cm from your ear.Combined with headphones that sound like a "Sony Walkman" lacks the experience for someone who owns a pair of X42s. Finally, unless the party is screaming, the maximum volume is too low. Expect little more than the standard X360 headset with microphone. let's say 4/10 as an afterthought. I ended up tearing off the ring of rigid foam that surrounds the earcup, the speaker enclosure padding is soft enough to avoid discomfort.
