I was initially against using them as many reviews said too much lint and poor durability. They do have some fluff, but that's enough for this type of towel. These towels have two sides: a low pile and a medium pile. Any time you have a low-pile towel, expect at least some fluff. I've recently bought a lot of MF cloths and tested them for lint. My test is to wash the towels (using free and clear microfiber detergent or p&s rags to riches) immediately upon delivery and air dry only. (without heating operation). After drying, I run the roller back and forth across the towels to check for lint. I did find lint on the roller, but not in insane amounts (for comparison, I had a $9.99 budget pack with 30 towels covering the roller). They do have a band around them, but the band is smooth and doesn't feel like it's going to scratch anything, but if you're holding the towel properly, you still don't have to worry. Also, they are not as soft as I would like and tend to crumple a bit. You need to apply a little more pressure to prevent the grouping effect. These are minor complaints as I'm just trying to provide all the small details in case anyone is in doubt. These are definitely not the best towels on the market but for the price and same day shipping it's a good deal all round. I think they are perfect when you need an all purpose towel when you don't fancy nice good towels. That's why I have them, I save my good towels when I'm doing touch ups or coatings and use them for wallpapering, QD or washing without rinsing (which they're great for).
