Review on ☕️ Espresso Rocking Crib: DaVinci Alpha Mini with Removable Wheels, Greenguard Gold Certification by Kathy Morales

Nice bed! the best for baby and toddler beds

I just got this and it's easy to put together compared to large cribs. My eldest son will be 2 when his little brother is born so we chose this smaller, cheaper (but cherry color matching) crib as I love that it can move between rooms and rocks. As soon as the child grows up, we will move it to a large bed, because by then my eldest son should already be in a large bed. It looks great and the rocking function is neat. One thing I noticed when I received it is that it comes with a thin mattress for the crib - I already bought a mattress to go with it but I don't need to use it. with this cot I think (the mattress fits perfectly so I will still use it). The mattress that comes with the crib is quite thin which is probably not bad for a baby. I only wish I had bought a Revain recommended mattress and I really don't feel like returning another mattress now (which I made a sheet for). I also noticed when assembling it that it was difficult to set it to the lowest setting - it's like the screws on the bottom are scratching the sides. I don't know if I did something wrong, but I followed the instructions pretty closely. It's not a big deal because you can't see the inside of the crib where he scratches the wood a lot, but it would be nice if he didn't. Another problem with that. It's really light so unlike a full sized crib my little one can stand on the edge and I'm pretty sure he'll tip over if I give him enough time with him. I plan to use furniture straps to attach it to the wall. Helper Mom Tip Sturdy Furniture Securing 8 Brackets I've been using for all my other furniture and I think I can fit two brackets - one on each wall for the rooms I want to use them indoors and just attach to the wall while I move the crib from room to room. They're really easy to open to move the furniture around, so it's possible, but it will help the little one not knock over his little brother when he's trying to see what's going on in there. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with my purchase. I think this is a good product for a second child who may eventually move to a larger crib when their older brother outgrows it.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • So far so good
