After much research I decided to use this on the restored oak dining table my husband built me for Christmas. The table is super heavy and weighs 400 pounds so it's here to stay! The application was easy. I apply three coats to the surface of the table and two to the rest. What a nice ending! Hand-carried quality of a family heirloom. I didn't want to give such a cool table a cheap polyester finish. The finish is silky smooth. I paid more but it was worth it! I used about half the glass and this huge table. I don't have to worry about the paintwork. If necessary, simply apply another layer as indicated. It's been 3 months and she's still beautiful!
