I had a hard time finding the perfect tray. I started with a small one in her cage just putting her bedding and some hay in it. I had a hard time potty training her so ended up buying a second one from the pet store with a metal tray. She grew much larger and soon outgrew them. I just bought a shallow litter box and filled it with litter. It was driving me crazy because the sheets were stuck to her hair and it was a huge mess. This one is perfect for her. It's big enough that I just use the puppy mat underneath to catch everything. She is no longer a mess and my dog does not come to her little litter to try and eat (fu 🤢). It's very easy to clean. I was so satisfied that I immediately ordered a second one. So I keep one in her room and leave the other in the living room when she comes out to play.
