This massager is very good. "Teeth" are soft and plastic. Any massager of this type will pull your hair a little, but it will be minimal. Especially if you only hold it in one place for a few seconds before moving it. I also part the hair in the area where I'm going to place the massager so that helps. I think it says it's waterproof, but I haven't tested that feature. I have chronic headaches and use it mainly for this reason. It would be great if they could cool the teeth somehow. But I haven't seen it anywhere else. This is a great product.
