While the ribbon spools in the picture looked bigger, they are on smaller spools with the measured amount of ribbon. All the ribbons are red, white or blue or a combination of those three colors. Obviously great for the USA 4th of July, but also handy for Canada Day. Some of the designs have stars on them and others I have no idea what they represent but in a group arrangement featuring many of the ribbons, you won't wonder what they are. I did hope to find the directions on how to making the lovely ribbon display that is on the listing page but alas, it was not included. I find that most craft items seem to think that the purchaser should know whey want things for and no instructions are needed. With red and pink my favorite colors, I'm sure I will think up great things to use them for.Thank you for the opportunity to try these ribbons. They are a welcome addition to my craft room.
