I have a 42 inch Panasonic plasma TV. It doesn't have standard hole spacing on the back (measure yours first). This mount is designed like a tank and can easily hold my TV. No, don't give up, it's hard. NOTE: My wall studs were off center resulting in my mount being off center where I wanted to mount my TV. Rather than opening up the wall and inserting bolts, I attached them to the existing locations by offsetting the bracket about 4 inches off center. The great thing about this mount is that I was able to slide the tv on the back about 4 inches to the end of the back and then attach the tv to the panel. As a result, my TV sits in the middle of the wall. No problem, no fuss. It has now been installed for about 2 months and still works reliably. If you have a heavy TV then this mount is for you.
