The filters fit perfectly. One of the filters in the six pack had strange material at the bottom of the inner plastic bag. It looked like very small (<0.5mm) silica beads, but I can't be sure of the composition. When this filter was installed, the wash water did not have the typical dark (charcoal) hue. The second time I filled the tank with this filter, it leaked through the rubber seal at the bottom. The dripping water contained the rough texture of the pearls that I saw when I opened the packaging. After filling up and making coffee the next morning, the Jura water pump made a strange noise due to the air-water mixture being pumped. Upon re-examination, it was found that not enough water was flowing through the filter and there was more granular material. I replaced it with another K&J filter. It had the correct dark tint when flushing the setup. I am concerned that one of the filters had a manufacturing defect and the size and consistency of the beading debris could be clogging my Jura's inlet filter, damaging the machine itself and/or ending up in my coffee mug through the brew group. Espresso UPDATE: I opened one of the K&J filters and found bullets mixed with black sticks (charcoal?) inside. Most of the filter material consists of transparent balls. It looks like the foam filter at the top of the assembly is letting the filter media through. Luckily my ENA 5 has a strainer on the tank connection. This area was completely covered with beads. I was able to clean it with cotton swabs and a vacuum cleaner.
