After my dad wrapped them in aluminum foil to make inexpensive chicken nuggets, they lost their luster and were maybe an inch thick. quite impressive is the way they are stacked on top of each other, nicely kept alongside my collection of Martha Stewart pans. The colors go really well together thanks to the warm light under my cupboards. I'm sure the durability of these pans will outlast any of our rustic holiday meals. I can bake a jar of frozen cookies and they slide out of the pan easily. I can cook a juicy steak for two and the dirt just washes away. I would recommend these pans to most of my friends and family. I would trust her tenacity to KO my most obnoxious family member at our Christmas dinner without scratching her. (No arrests because NO traces are left!) For me personally, that's a bonus. Look at her!
