Review on Volant 19642 Cool Air Intake by Keith Wachtel

Decent quality compared to competitors. Very difficult to install. Barely fitted and did not line up with the hole in the fender where the original Ford air filter/exhaust was. Only one of the two mounting bolts actually matched the mounting plate used to mount the Original Equipment air cleaner/muffler. There's no room for customization at all. The inlet fits snugly against the throttle body. Looks good. But when you step on the gas, the sound of the engine is just amazing! The unit does draw air, but due to the restrictive exhaust, the exhaust rumble can be felt under the firewall at the junction of the manifolds into a single exhaust. I would be very curious to see how the AIRADE and K&N blocks compare. I haven't contacted Volant yet, but I plan to complain.
