This product has been a lifesaver for me. I had my first dog (black) who was fairly docile after treat training, but as he got older his breed's desire to stalk and his lack of desire to "come along" when he was playing with the neighbor's cats was enough or hunted/terrorized, NOT OUT. I was a bit apprehensive when deciding to purchase the "shock collar" but this product also had beeper and vibrate options and the water resistance of the collar was what drew me. This product was easy to use and easy to train the dog with. When he wasn't listening I beeped him, if he still wasn't listening he started vibrating and after the third shock he was shocked. He did for the first few days and now even when he's chasing a squirrel. If I give him a signal, he stops and comes straight to me. It changed the rules of the game. My dog is 65 pounds and only needs to be shocked at level 16. I recently got a Beagle puppy and bought a second collar which easily syncs with the remote I already had from my first dog. This collar was primarily used to help with his incessant barking. I vibrated it when it barked and now the barking has stopped. He jumped me too, and I have small children in my family, so I had to nip it in the bud quickly. These collars have been a great boon to me, especially with very lively and water loving dogs. These collars are indestructible. In fact, I just attached the receiver to my two dogs' leather collars and they always wear them but take them off when they go to bed. I love this product and the battery life of the collars. I would highly recommend these collars and have recommended them to anyone who has commented on how well behaved my dogs are.
