As an engineer, I appreciate versatile and functional design. This product is exactly that. I live with roommates and cook a lot. There never seems to be room in the kitchen for all of our gizmos. So I bought this hand blender to replace my old and broken kitchen appliances and to free up some space. The quality is excellent, the motor is powerful enough and I use it almost every day. I love that it's BPA free and that it comes in an 800ml jar. Even at low speeds, the engine is powerful. Before preparing salsa, sauce or puree. I would use my magic bullet blender which would take forever! I would have to let it blend for 5 minutes and then shake the blender and then wait a bit so the motor doesn't overheat. With the Redmond Mixer, that's no problem. The other day I made date paste in under a minute, which is tricky in most blenders. I've never had a milk frother before but this works great, my homemade lattes taste so much better now. The whisk is also a wonderful feature; If you hit something, advise starting on low settings and then increasing as needed, don't be like me and cover your face in batter. With a hand blender, I easily made a creamy pumpkin soup with nutmeg. Finally, my favorite part of this blender is the chopper! This is the one I use the most, it speeds up the cooking time and like I said, it's really strong. I highly recommend this blender. It saves space, cuts down on cooking time, is ridiculously easy to clean and overall excellent quality.
