Review on Secure Your Space with Combi-Bolt CB2000-BLACK, 1PK, Black - Strong and Stylish Locking Solution by Nolan White

I wanted to replace my regular deadbolt + padlock with this one so I don't have to keep an eye on the key all the time. I installed it for now, but it's so sticky and finicky that I might as well go back to the old method; Getting the combination set just perfect before it opens is very finicky, and even then it can require either considerable force or finicky wiggling (or both) to get it to open. I've tried using some WD40 and repeatedly opening and closing it to try to loosen the mechanism but to no avail. Also, the screw itself is quite short - if you have a gap between two parts of the item you're trying to fasten, you'll either fail or have to figure out some kind of fastener to get a very tight fit. Maybe I'm just unlucky with a poorly made one and you'll have better luck, but I can't recommend this device. The finish and looks are good, and they include screws that don't come loose, which is also nice, so this isn't a one-star rating. (I didn't use these screws so I can easily remove them if I just can't live with it over time)
