This looks nice but doesn't give enough light for my purposes. I installed it in the hallway at the top of the stairs as there is no light there. I used the tape that came with the kit and it's holding up well so far, but I just taped it today. However, there is a fundamental design flaw that doesn't make sense to me. . . You have the option to turn the switch to the "on", "off" position. or "auto", however the switch is hidden behind a plastic plate next to the battery compartment and can only be accessed by removing it from the wall and unscrewing the 4 screws. holds the plate in place. It makes no sense - don't plan on using it by turning it on and off manually. If you just want a very dim, motion-activated night light, this might be for you. The sensor seems to be working fine. I think I wasted the money on my own purposes, but probably not worth getting it back.
