Review on Ooma Office DP1-O Wireless Business Desk Phone – Compatible with Ooma Office Cloud-based VoIP Phone Service for Small Businesses. by Jennifer Wilson

The sound quality is terrible and the speakerphone microphone sounds like street noise.

When I use the handset (not the speakerphone) people can hear me, but the volume on the handset is too low and not very clear even at full volume. When you switch to hands-free mode, your phone uses the built-in microphone in the bottom right corner. It immediately sounds like the car is going down the freeway, and then the echo feedback loop begins. I called my cell phone and my cell phone was off (not on speakerphone) and when I put my Ooma phone on speakerphone I could hear what people were talking about. I will return this phone. The sound is of the worst quality and most likely made from cheap internal parts. I doubt it has *any* noise-canceling tech that even basic Bluetooth headphones have.
