I had an old directional antenna. This worked great when all four local stations were in the northwest. Two have moved. One is not due north and the other is due east. I got this to test as an omnidirectional antenna. It works. Now I catch all four stations again. I found that it's not fully omnidirectional. I set it up so that the Northwest and North stations are great, but the East station is out of order in bad weather. I can turn it around and have one running all the time and the other three fall out in bad weather. But that's a huge improvement over the old directional antenna, which only picked up transmitters in one direction.
