Replaced a very old directional antenna with a preamplifier. I've visited several websites that map cell towers and your chances of getting a signal from them. Most of them said I got little or no signal from towers 41 miles outside of Philadelphia. They also told me which way to point the antenna. I took a chance and still bought this antenna based on the reviews. I installed it on the roof, grounded it properly, ran the wire to the TV, plugged it in, and every channel from these towers was crystal clear with no distortion. Now I have an advice for you.
