Like many people I bought many items of exceptional and good quality until I bought and received this omnidirectional antenna so excited to finally be able to cut the cable from the cable company! After moving this antenna from the attic, from one side of the house to the other, from one end of the house to the other, placing it high and not very high, for more than 3 months, I have had very limited or no reception. From time to time I had fantastic reception on several channels, but it didn't last long. Often not even an hour has passed and everything has come "no signal". One thing I found out through a lot of research is that there is no such thing as a multi-directional antenna. You have to point the antenna in the direction of the cell towers, and even then, if you get a signal, it sucks. I'm rating this antenna as a POS and now I'm stuck because I spent too much time thinking and believing that they would work and eventually save me a $200 monthly bill. I live in western North Carolina on a mountain where I'm over 2,500 feet and I can physically see the numerous cell towers but I can't get a stable signal or in many cases no signal at all.
