Advertised as gourmet cat food, but it doesn't say so on the packaging.

My vet wants me to buy cat food that contains the first ingredient as advertised. good quality. When I opened it last week I read the first few ingredients and they are fillers. Now they tell me I can't return it. Can I exchange it for an item I previously bought that is exquisite?
