About a week after I bought these tweezers 2 days in a row, I used 2 different tweezers to remove 1) a metal splinter on the side of the nail that was causing pain and 2) a wood splinter on the side of the nail joint on the back of one of my fingers. Both fragments came out immediately and both sites healed perfectly. Small scissors are good too. So I gave the set to my daughter, who used one of the tweezers the very next day. Then I bought a set for my son's friend who I didn't like before this gift but now she loves it. For very little money I have satisfied 2 people + myself. What's not to like? Each of the 4 tweezers is slightly different to make it easier for you to access a splinter or whatever you need to remove from yourself or your loved ones!
