Poor matte finish on many keycaps

As another user posted a photo of used keycaps, it looks like it is a bad keycap finish. Many keycaps don't have a nice finish, not even a matte finish, so many keycaps have mottled, shiny areas. If that doesn't bother you, then these keycaps will probably make you very happy. But for the price, you'd expect a nice, even matte finish on all keycaps. Looking at the reviews on Drop, this seems to be a current issue. Possibly a bad batch.
