One thing we use all-purpose tape for is marking things that our kids take to school. This tape has a higher tack than other masking tapes we've used, so it's more prone to tearing when you try to unroll it. It's a bit annoying. This is good quality tape - not too flimsy - and is clearly a bit stronger than cheap brands. I think it would be better labeled as a high performance product than an all purpose product and would be handy if it could be done with a little less hassle.
