. I've only had my 2019 Ford F-150 for about a month and have already had to replace the 12v cover on the rear console of my pickup truck. I've found two ways to install this and it's difficult to find the correct video online. #1 You can search your console and remove a few parts to get to the 12 volt cap, which I think is a waste of time. #2 (which I did) I took two small flathead screwdrivers and pressed the tabs inside the 12v connector. You have to push very hard to break or push the taps on the old cover frame. Once this is complete simply use the flat heads to pull the 12v adapter out of the frame. Once it's out, pull it off, remove the old connector cover and put on the new cover. Just make sure you place it in the same direction you installed it and it should go in easily. If for some reason it dents and loosens a bit, I just added some super glue to hold it securely in place. This is an OEM product and it took me 10 minutes to replace it.
