If you have a convertible, you really need it. So bite the bullet and buy it.

I confess, when I first saw this, I rolled my eyes. Why would I ever need a rigid specialty brush just for cleaning the top? I had a lot of brushes at home, didn't I? So I tried 3 of them. But the bristles broke off and got stuck in the fabric. Or were too stiff and it seemed that it could damage the fabric. Or were too fragile to even work. So yes, if you have a rag top machine this is the perfect brush for cleaning. And that really is a necessity. It's not cheap, but neither was your fancy roadster.
