We used these plates for two events this weekend. The plates are durable and each one is a little bit unique with beautiful natural patterns. We have received many compliments from guests! I was concerned about the coating getting wet after reading other reviews, but that wasn't a problem at all. We have served pasta, salads and desserts with sauces on plates and it was absolutely no problem. (In fact, a week before the event, I poured tomato sauce, cream sauce, and salad dressing into several test bowls and left them in the kitchen. The bottom got a bit pliable after about 6 hours, but never leaked. The hours were long enough, so I did experiment ended at this point.) We will definitely be using these records at any future event!
