Update: The company has shipped a replacement at no charge. Currently it works perfectly, no smoke or fire. I gave 1 star just because 0 doesn't fit. My first problem started when my abs rotated to 1 position. After my husband was able to grind down the grooves created by the curve, I was able to use it again. It happened in April after only 1 month of use. In June, while working on a large contract, I noticed that the temporary hires remained hopeful throughout. Up down up down. It doesn't stay the same attitude. I've reset it multiple times and every time I use it it does the same thing. About 2 weeks ago I noticed that the handle, that you use to twist your abs was loose. There is no way to tighten it as it screws into the top where your heating plate is. Now one screw is completely loose and the other is so loose that I can't use that knob making it difficult to move. The last straw was that it started smoking and burning from the white insulated wires going from the control box to the hotplate. It was even too hot to touch. Needless to say I can no longer use it due to the potential fire hazard. I bought this product in February 2019 and it arrived in March. We are now 7 months old and I can no longer use my defective tummy and need to get a new one. DO NOT BUY THIS PRESS!
