I only used this straightener once and it has stopped working. He came on time; pretty quick which was great. Didn't use it right away as I bought it for Mother's Day weekend. I opened it up Sunday morning and started curling my hair. I turned it off for a while to finish cooking. When I came back to restart I plugged it back in and turned it on. I did my best to wait for the iron to heat up but when I came back maybe 10 minutes later the iron was still cold. The red light was on but the plates were cold to the touch. I turned the knob to increase the temperature but to no avail. This is a cheap product, obviously with a very short shelf life. i will return my money I'm really pissed off because I had to spend Mother's Day with half my hair in a curl. But when it worked, it worked well. It heats up instantly and I didn't have to leave the flat iron on my hair for too long to get results. I would not recommend buying this product. I'm sending mine back for a refund. Does anyone have a product they can recommend? Many Thanks.
